In A Gothic Tale we present historical characters in heritage museums through everyday objects that have been given autonomy and personality. These haunted artifacts are presented in the exhibition space animated by the characters’ ghosts. Visitors are invited to interact with them to explore, discover, and create their own interpretations of the stories they are telling, just as if they were unraveling the mystery of a gothic tale.
The Ghost of Flynderupgård / We are bringing the spirit of Frederik Ferdinand Hansen back to life and holding it within the house of Flynderupgård for the duration of this exhibition – and perhaps ever after.
Together with students from the Natural and Cultural Heritage Management Program at Copenhagen University/Metropol the company A Gothic Tale has been working with the museum Flynderupgård to create a new exhibition surrounding the figure of Frederik Ferdinand Hansen.
